Hello! We are Team Empower to Cure, and we are excited for the opportunity to do our part in the fight against blood cancers. Our team has decided to fundraise for the pillar of Advocacy. We chose advocacy because we understand the importance of advocating for a better tomorrow and we enjoy making an impact on our community. To fulfill this pillar, we will be meeting with representatives from our state’s government to advocate for more funding towards cancer research and patient support. Together, our team aims to raise 100,000 dollars to make a difference in the lives of those who need it. All donations will support LLS’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
